Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is Digniz?
A: The first automatic changing device designed for bedbound adults at home. It automates the most frequent, physically demanding part of caregiving — safely, gently, and with dignity at the center.
Q: Who is it for?
A: Bedbound adults being cared for at home, and the people who care for them — family caregivers, home health aides, and visiting nurses.
Q: Is Digniz safe?
A: Safety is the first consideration in every design decision. Digniz is currently in engineering validation and testing, and we intend to complete the appropriate review processes before any commercial release.
Q: Has Digniz been cleared by the FDA?
A: Digniz is still in development and has not yet been through any regulatory review process. We’re building our safety and validation plan with regulatory guidance from an early stage, and we’ll update this page as our status changes.
Q: Does it require plumbing or special installation?
A: No. Digniz is designed for real homes — no plumbing connection is required.
Q: Does it use special diapers?
A: Digniz is designed to work with standard adult diapers, so families aren’t locked into a proprietary diaper.
Q: When will it be available?
A: We’re in the prototype and pilot phase and don’t yet have a fixed launch date — we’d rather get safety and reliability right than rush a deadline. The waitlist is the best way to stay informed.
Q: How much will it cost?
A: Pricing isn’t finalized. We’re exploring flexible options, and waitlist members will hear specifics first.
Q: What happens if the power goes out?
A: Safe handling of interruptions — including manual override — is a core part of our engineering and safety testing. Full details will be published when that testing is complete.
Q: Will my information be kept private?
A: Yes. We only use your email to send Digniz updates, we never sell your data, and you can unsubscribe anytime. See our Privacy Policy.
